A steel wire rope groove sealing device of a fixed winch type gate opening and closing machine comprises two supporting pipes and two closing mechanisms. Two groove openings are formed in the inner side, close to the other supporting pipe, of each supporting pipe in length direction of the corresponding supporting pipe. Notches correspondingly communicated with the notches are formed in the portions, corresponding to the ends of the groove openings, of the lower portions of the supporting pipes respectively. Each sealing mechanism comprises a steel belt and two bent shafts. First penetrating holes for steel wire ropes on the same side to pass are formed in the middle sections of the steel belts in the length direction. Each bent shaft is arranged between the two supporting pipes and located to the side, close to the center area of the two groove openings in the same side, of the two corresponding notches in the same side. The middle sections of the steel belts in the length direction are arranged between the two supporting pipes in a sliding and carrying manner through the two groove openings in the same side of the two supporting pipes in the length direction. The sides, far away from the middle sections of the steel belts, of the steel belts in the length direction are in arc bending through the corresponding bent shafts and the corresponding two notches in the same side of the two groove openings and extend to the portions below the two supporting pipes. By means of the device, the rope groove sealing effect is good.

By means of the device, the rope groove sealing effect is good.
