The invention belongs to the technical field of buildings, and relates to a fender post suitable for building a basement. The technical problem that in the prior art, basement floors can not be firmly connected is solved. The fender post comprises a fender post body with the T-shaped cross section. The fender post body comprises a transverse post and a vertical post, wherein the vertical post is perpendicular to the transverse post and is fixedly connected with the transverse post. A connecting piece structure capable of connecting a reinforcing steel bar in one basement floor with the transverse post is arranged on the transverse post. According to the fender post, the fender post body can be firmly combined with a soil layer and the corresponding basement floor, and therefore a stable supporting structure is formed.
