The invention relates to a dry hanging structure of a decorative board for a vertical face, comprising a main frame substrate which is vertically arranged and a decorative board which is paved at the outer side of the main frame substrate, wherein a positioning device is arranged at the outer side of the main frame substrate; the positioning device comprises a groove cavity with an outward opening; the groove cavity extends in the longitudinal direction; a transverse rod is arranged in the groove cavity; two ends of the transverse rod are respectively connected to the left cavity wall and right cavity wall of the groove cavity; the left and right ends of the decorative board are provided with inward bent flanges extending longitudinally; and the inward bent flanges are provided with a hanging groove capable of being hooked by the transverse rod. The dry hanging structure is simple, the consumption of parts can be reduced, the installation operation is greatly simplified, and the installation is more convenient and fast. In addition, the dry hanging structure can ensure that adjacent decorative boards are installed in a laminated way, so that gaps among the decorative boards are reduced. Because the dry hanging structure has the characteristics and advantages, the dry hanging structure can be applied to the decorative board for the vertical face.
