The invention discloses a bolt control system for an asynchronous motor drive type protective door and a control method for the bolt control system. The control system comprises a driving component and a control system hardware platform; the control system hardware platform controls the driving component to run; and the driving component comprises a driving motor, and the control system hardware platform comprises a processor, a bolt position detecting device and an operation component. The control method achieved through the control system includes a control method for bolt running starting and a control method for bolt running stopping. The bolt control method is applied to design of the anti-violence protective door control system, and opening, closing and control stopping of a bolt of the protective door are achieved. The safety of the protective door in the hazardous operation process is facilitated.
