The invention relates to a device for manually opening hopper bin gates, which comprises a pair of opposite bin gates articulated at the bottom of a hopper, wherein the front end of each bin gate is articulated with the lower end of a bin gate pull rod, and the upper end of the bin gate pull rod is connected with a wire rope; the wire rope passes through a pulley and is connected with a reel; the reel is installed on a reel bracket in a rolling way; a reel ratchet wheel is arranged on the side face of the reel; the direction of the ratchet on the reel ratchet wheel is opposite to the direction of the wire rope on the reel, leaving the reel; and the reel ratchet wheel is respectively connected with a gate closing mechanism arranged on a reel shaft and a gate opening mechanism arranged on the reel bracket. The device provided by the invention has the advantages that both hands of working personnel are free, so that the both hands can fully perform manual sorting so as to improve the sorting efficacy.
