Method for preparing nickel ferrite magnetic material from waste nickel-hydrogen batteries
The invention discloses a method for preparing a nickel ferrite magnetic material from waste nickel-hydrogen batteries. The purpose of the invention is providing the nickel ferrite preparation method with the advantages of simple process, low cost and high product added values. A technical scheme is characterized in that the method comprises the following steps: 1, discharging the nickel-hydrogen batteries, disassembling the batteries, and separating positive sheets; 2, dissolving the positive sheets obtained in step in a citric acid solution with the concentration of 0.75-1.25mol/L, wherein a ratio of the mass of the positive sheets to the volume of the citric acid solution is 45-75g/L; 3, adding a reducing agent hydrogen peroxide solution, dissolving, and filtering; 4, determining the content of metal ions in the above obtained solution, and adjusting the molar ratio of Ni<2+> to Fe<2+> in the solution to 1:2 by using nickel sulfate and ferrous sulfate; 5, adjusting the pH value of the solution obtained in step 4 to 5-9 by using ammonia water, and stirring to obtain gel; and 6, drying the gel, grinding, transferring the obtained ground material to a muffle furnace, and carrying out high temperature calcination at 600-900DEG C for 2h to obtain the nickel ferrite magnetic material.
