The invention discloses a surface-film-forming coating for concrete. The coating is prepared by the following components in percentage by weight: 1-10% of an acrylic acid-acrylamide copolymer, 5-10% of a styrene-acrylic acid copolymer, 0.1-0.5% of a wax emulsion, 0.1-0.7% of fatty alcohol-polyoxyethylene ether, 1-8% of inorganic micropowder, 0.1-0.5% of an organic silicon defoamer and the balance of water. The surface-film-forming coating for concrete disclosed by the invention has the functions of preventing water, moisture and corrosion, resisting seepage, carbonization and cracking and the like, is simple, convenient, labor-saving and time-saving to operate, and has no special requirements on the construction environments and conditions. By using the film-forming coating, the comprehensive cost of a concrete building can be lowered, the economical benefit is improved, and the coating has a wide engineering application prospect.
