The invention discloses a construction method for roof waterproof coating. The construction method comprises the following steps that a, dust on a roof is cleaned up through a broom, and a scraper knife is used for scraping residual mortar blocks or protrusions; b, the waterproof coating is prepared from siliceous lime powder, asphalt, isocyanate, a thickening agent, an antifoaming agent and silver paste powder by mass; c, the prepared waterproof coating is laid on the roof, and flattened through a press roll to form a waterproof layer; d, the surface of the waterproof layer is coated with a layer of plastic film, the plastic film is torn off after the waterproof layer is dried after 0.5-1.5 days, and a roof waterproof layer is formed. According to the construction method for the roof waterproof coating, construction can be carried out at normal temperature, operation is easy and convenient, a good waterproof effect can be achieved when the coating is used for a roof project, and leakage caused by base layer cracking can be overcome.
