Strain tower
The invention discloses a strain tower and belongs to the field of iron towers for transmission lines. The strain tower comprises a tower body, a first conducting wire crossarm, a second conducting wire crossarm, a first ground wire bracket and a second ground wire bracket, wherein the first conducting wire crossarm and the second conducting wire crossarm are horizontally arranged on the two sides of the tower body; and the first ground wire bracket and the second ground wire bracket are arranged at the top end of the tower body in the mode that the first ground wire bracket and the second ground wire bracket mutually form a certain angle and used for enabling a middle-phase conducting wire jumper wire connected with a middle-phase conducting wire to pass through a hollow window formed between the first ground wire bracket and the second ground wire bracket and then bypass the tower body. According to the strain tower provided by the invention, three-phase conducting wires are arranged and designed horizontally, and electrical performance requirements of ground wire ice unloading and jumping in a heavy ice area are and operation safety of transmission lines in the heavy ice area are improved; compared with a common strain tower shaped like the Chinese character 'gan', the strain tower provided by the invention has the advantages that the ground wire crossarms are simplified, the height of a tower head is reduced and the tower weight is reduced; and the middle-phase conducting wire jumper wire is simple in form and easy to realize, and a supporting insulator can completely and effectively bear loads of the middle-phase conducting wire jumper wire.
