The invention provides a solar hot gas flow vertical axis power generation chimney, relating to the technical field of renewable energy source utilization. The solar hot gas flow vertical axis power generation chimney comprises a hot gas flow sunlight greenhouse, wherein the middle part of the hot gas flow sunlight greenhouse is provided with a vertical hot gas flow chimney; the periphery of the bottom of the hot gas flow chimney is annularly provided with a plurality of flared gas inlet channels; each gas inlet channel comprises a vertical section; a vertical axis turbofan generator set is arranged in each vertical section; the lower end of each vertical section is connected with a flared gas inlet; the upper end of each vertical section is connected with the hot gas flow chimney through a cambered section; and the gas inlet channels are arranged in the hot gas flow sunlight greenhouse. The solar hot gas flow vertical axis power generation chimney provided by the invention can gather the hot gas flow and implement acceleration, thereby driving the vertical axis turbofan generator set to work at the vertical sections; and the solar hot gas flow vertical axis power generation chimney has high solar hot gas flow power generation rate.
