The invention discloses a silicate permeation waterproof agent. The waterproof agent is prepared from, by weight, 550-600 parts of sodium silicate, 2-5 parts of potassium dichromate, 1-4 parts of aluminium potassium sulfate, 6-10 parts of zinc stearate, 6-10 parts of calcium stearate, 5-15 parts of kieselguhr, 5-10 parts of aluminum powder, 1-5 parts of polyaluminum ferric chloride, 2-4 parts of talcum powder, 1-4 parts of calcium formate, 2-5 parts of carboxymethylcellulose and 450-550 parts of water. The waterproof agent is large in permeation depth, excellent in durability and capable of being applied to water resisting for a roof, a basement, a bathroom and the like.
