The prepared retarder is free of chloride and alkali, the setting time of concrete can be effectively prolonged, heat of hydration can be reduced, generation and development of temperature cracks of the concrete can be greatly reduced and even avoided, the workability of the concrete can be further obviously improved, the bleeding rate can be greatly reduced, and endurance performance such as freezing resistance and corrosion resistance can be improved.
