The invention discloses a sulfate-corrosion-resistant coating material with a concrete structure and a preparation method of the sulfate-corrosion-resistant coating material. The preparation method comprises the following steps of firstly, preparing potassium magnesium phosphate cement by taking dead burnt magnesium oxide powder as an alkaline component and monopotassium phosphate as an acid component and externally doping a composite retarder; secondly, mixing the potassium magnesium phosphate cement prepared in the first step, silicon ash and limestone powder to prepare potassium magnesium phosphate cement-based material powder; and then, adding water glass, polypropylene fiber and water into the prepared potassium magnesium phosphate cement-based material powder, and mixing to prepare potassium magnesium phosphate cement-based material slurry, namely the sulfate-corrosion-resistant coating material with the concrete structure. The method disclosed by the invention is simple in process, convenient to use, energy-saving, environmentally friendly and relatively low in cost; and the prepared potassium magnesium phosphate cement-based material is controllable in setting time, capable of releasing hydration heat in stages, high in water stability and sulfate corrosion resistance and capable of improving the sulfate corrosion resistance and durability of the concrete structure after being coated on the surface of Portland cement concrete in a serious sulfate corrosion environment.
