Preparation method for high-toughness Al2O3/3Y-ZrO2 multiphase ceramic
The invention discloses a preparation method for high-toughness Al2O3/3Y-ZrO2 multiphase ceramic, and aims to improve the toughness and the product burning rate of the Al2O3/3Y-ZrO2 multiphase ceramic. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) selection and mixing of powder: putting Al2O3 powder and 3Y-ZrO2 powder into a planetary ball grinder, carrying out wet grinding for 8 hours to uniformly mix the Al2O3 powder and the 3Y-ZrO2 powder, drying the powder in a drying box after ball grinding, and hermitically preserving the screened powder for later use; (2) pressing forming: putting the powder into a steel casting die, and carrying out dry pressing forming under the pressure of 450MPa; (3) sintering: putting the ceramic subjected to dry pressing forming into a box type electric furnace, sintering according to a constant-speed heating and multi-stage heat preservation normal pressure sintering technology, performing heat preservation respectively under the temperature phases of 300 DEG C, 600 DEG C, 1,000 DEG C and 1,200 DEG C for 0.5 hour at each temperature phase, performing heat preservation at the highest sintering temperature of 1,600 DEG C for 8 hours, then stopping heating to naturally cooling the ceramic to room temperature, and obtaining a ceramic product.
