The present invention discloses a CNTs-toughened TiB2 ceramic composite material and a preparation method therefor. The preparation method comprises: a mixing step: mixing TiB2 matrix powder with CNTs powder to obtain mixing powder of TiB2 and CNTs; and a sintering step: sintering the mixing powder by using a spark plasma sintering method to obtain the CNTs-toughened TiB2 ceramic composite material. According to the CNTs toughening TiB2 ceramic composite material and the preparation method therefor provided by the present invention, the fracture toughness and thermal shock resistance of the ceramic composite material can be improved by toughening of CNTs, the sintering time can be effectively shortened and the sintering temperature can be effectively reduced by using a SPS rapid sintering technology, and an inhibiting effect on the abnormal growth of grains is exerted, so that the ceramic composite material has a good mechanical property.
