The castable is prepared from, by weight, 10-20% of calcium hexaluminate with the particle size distribution being 3-5 mm, 20-40% of calcium hexaluminate with the particle size being smaller than or equal to 3 mm, 5-10% of high-purity magnesia with the particle size being smaller than or equal to 3 mm, 10-20% of tabular corundum with the particle size distribution being 1-3 mm, 10-20% of electro-fused mullite with 180-200 meshes, 2-7% of pure calcium aluminate cement with the particle size smaller than 0.088 mm, 2-10% of alpha-Al2O3 micro powder with the particle size smaller than 1.0 micrometer, 1-5% of bisphenol A and 1-3% of a water reducing agent. The castable can meet blast furnace interior using conditions, and the prepared blast furnace tuyere small sleeve has the advantages of being good in high-temperature resistance and wear resistance, high in slag resistance and iron corrosion, long in service life and low in cost. Meanwhile, water cooling is not needed, water resources are greatly saved, the preparation method is simple, the construction period is short, and industrial production is easy.
