Disclosed is an automatic cleaning and maintaining device powered up through solar energy and used for a bridge. The bridge comprises a horizontal main girder (4) and auxiliary girders (41). The horizontal main girder (4) is provided with a guide rib (2) extending horizontally, and the auxiliary girders (41) are supported on the horizontal main girder (4). The automatic cleaning and maintaining device comprises a supporting frame (99), a water supply tube (61) and a nozzle (62). The water supply tube (61) is supported on the supporting frame (99) and close to the main girder (4), and the nozzle (62) is communicated with the water supply tube (61) so as to be aligned with the position to be cleaned of the bridge for water spraying cleaning. Multiple guide protrusions extending along the guide rib (2) are arranged on the upper surface and the lower surface of the guide rib (2) respectively.
