The invention provides a suction nozzle used for a road sweeper and the road sweeper. The suction nozzle comprises a collecting part and a spraying mechanism. The collecting part is provided with a cavity, a first opening and a second opening, wherein the first opening and the second opening are communicated with the cavity. The spraying mechanism is provided with a spray nozzle. The first opening and the second opening are located at the two ends of the cavity in the flowing direction of rubbish. The spraying mechanism is located outside of the cavity. By arranging the spraying mechanism on the collecting part, the spraying mechanism is started when the spray nozzle works, so that fluid sprayed through the spray nozzle impacts on the rubbish, the rubbish can be better discharged and sucked through the collecting part, and the rubbish collecting reliability of the suction nozzle is improved; the rubbish is effectively prevented from being left on the road surface, and then the cleaning effect of the road sweeper is improved.
