The invention discloses a planar opening and closing film roof. The planar opening and closing film roof comprises a foldable net rack and a film structure; the foldable net rack consists of a sliding track, rigid beams, rollers and shear type unit groups; each shear type unit group consists of V-shaped shear units and an X-shaped shear unit which are connected to one another in series; two ends of each shear type unit group is provided with the corresponding V-shaped shear units; the middle of each shear type unit group is provided with the corresponding X-shaped shear unit; the V-shaped shear units on two sides of each shear type unit group are respectively connected with the corresponding rigid beams on the two sides at an intersection point through pins; the rigid beam in the middle of each shear type unit group is connected with the corresponding X-shaped shear type unit at a middle intersection point; the film structure comprises a plurality of film structure units; each film structure unit consists of a vertical rod and a film material; after being expanded, the film material of each film structure unit is in the shape of a rectangular pyramid approximately; the vertical rods are fixed at the intersection points where the rigid beams are intersected with the X-shaped shear type units; tops of the film materials are fixed at the upper ends of the vertical rods; and four corners of each film material are respectively fixed on the two rigid beams which are adjacent to the rigid beam of the corresponding vertical rod. The planar opening and closing film roof is simple in structure, convenient to use and high in structural stiffness, and can be used in an opened state or a closed state.
