The invention discloses a groove built-in building block and a damp filling wall containing building blocks. The groove built-in building block comprises a building block body, wherein the building block body comprises three groups of building surfaces; each group of the building surfaces consists of two brick surfaces which are mutually parallel; grooves and protrusions are correspondingly formed/arranged in/on the two parallel brick surfaces of one or more groups of the building surfaces, wherein the height of each of the protrusions is shorter than the groove depth of each of the grooves; the size of the side length of each of the protrusions is smaller than that of the inner side length of the grooves. The damp filling wall disclosed by the invention is built by building block bodies, wherein the protrusions of the building blocks are embedded into the grooves of the adjacent building blocks; a damping layer is used for sealing spaces between the protrusions and the grooves. Compared with a conventional damp filling wall, according to the groove built-in building blocks disclosed by the invention, mechanical biting force inside planes and outside the planes is strengthened; according to the conventional damp filling wall, glue needs to be used for cohere damp materials and concrete materials, the groove built-in building block is more reliable, and the technology is simpler. Compared with a conventional rippled built-in building block, the damp of the groove built-in building block is increased, so that the capacity of energy consumption, the frictional force of the building block and a contact surface and mechanical biting capacity are further improved.
