The invention discloses a control method of an electromagnetic lock; the control method is applied to the electromagnetic lock; the electromagnetic lock comprises a coil and a lock core; and when current passes through the coil, magnetic force can be generated to suck the lock core. The control method comprises the steps of: outputting the current to the coil; detecting if the coil satisfies preset safety conditions; and if not, stopping outputting the current to the coil. The invention further discloses an electromagnetic lock and an express delivery cabinet applying the electromagnetic lock. The electromagnetic lock controls the current of the coil, so that the coil works under the preset safety conditions, the coil is not easy to be burnt, and the service life is long.
