The invention relates to a fireproof heat-insulating curtain system for building exterior wall windows, characterized by comprising curtain cloth, a box, a guide rail, a guide slider and a bottom weight bar. The box comprises an octagonal roller, a motor, an end plate and a bottom plate. When the fireproof heat-insulating curtain system is powered off, a curtain part of the system automatically descends by the aid of the weight of the system and the weight of the bottom weight bar. In the case of a fire, the fireproof heat-insulating curtain part of the fireproof heat-insulating curtain system installed on the inner side of a building exterior wall window can be descended to block smoke and fire, thus interior temperature of a room increases slowly, smoke density is low and flames and heavy smoke outside a building can be effectively prevented from spreading indoors; therefore, personnel and properties in the room can be protected.
