The invention discloses a calcium hydroxide production technology. Calcium carbonate serves as a raw material, a specific activating agent is added, calcining time can be greatly shortened, and the calcium hydroxide production technology is energy-saving and environment-friendly. The calcium hydroxide production technology comprises the following steps of breaking calcium oxide by using a jaw crusher until the size of the calcium oxide is 40mm after the calcium oxide which is a finished product is prepared; feeding the crushed calcium oxide into a broken calcium oxide storage tank by using a bucket elevator; feeding the calcium oxide in a bin to a primary lime hydrate mixer which can be a single-shaft, double-shaft or three-shaft primary lime hydrate mixer according to yield by using a steady-flow spiral conveyer or a quantitative weighing system; digesting the calcium oxide primarily under the strong stirring effect of a mixing rod; feeding the primarily digested calcium oxide to a secondary lime hydrate mixer which can be a single-shaft, double-shaft or three-shaft secondary lime hydrate mixer according to yield to finish a digestion process; and feeding the digested lime to a powder selecting separator by using a semi-finished spiral conveyer to obtain qualified calcium hydroxide. The prepared calcium hydroxide is high in quality and high in purity.
