The invention relates to the technical field of sand stabilization and water reservation, and in particular relates to a mulching film for desertification control. The mulching film comprises a mulching film body for covering surface of desert, sandbags embedded in the desert and connection ropes, wherein one end of each connection rope is connected with the mulching film body while the other end thereof is connected with a sandbag. The mulching film for desertification control dislcosed by the invention is simple in structure, easy to construct, and capable of preventing wind and sand, reducing water evaporation amount, maintaining soil moisture, collecting and storing rainwater, and desalting soil.
