The invention provides a connecting element for prefabricated slab splicing. The connecting element comprises a support-free mold and a steel bar framework, wherein the support-free mold comprises a formwork body; at least one side surface of the formwork body is provided with a folding edge; the steel bar framework is fixedly arranged on the support-free mold. Therefore after the folding edge is arranged on the side surface of the formwork body, the slurry leakage in the casting process can be effectively prevented. Meanwhile, the plate surface after the edge folding can be put in the splicing surface of the prefabricated slab. Under the effect of a construction load, the support-free mold and the prefabricated slab are tightly pressed, and the slurry leakage is prevented. The steel bar framework is also arranged on the support-free mold; the intensity and the rigidity of the support-free mold per se can be greatly improved through the steel bar framework, so that the thickness of the support-free mold is further reduced; the materials are saved; the cost is reduced.
