The invention relates to the field of building, in particular to an installation structure for decorating plates. The installation structure for the decorating plates comprises a fastener used for fixing the decorating plates; the fastener is fixedly arranged on a wall surface; a fire prevention unit is arranged between the adjacent decorating plates; the fire prevention unit is arranged between the adjacent decorating plates so as to realize fire partition and improve the fireproof performance of the decorating plates. When a fire breaks out, the fire prevention unit is capable of effectively preventing the decorating plates from being ignited mutually, therefore the spread speed of the fire is retarded and time is made for fire control so as to avoid large-area fire and reduce losses to the minimum.
