The invention relates to an automatic monitoring and safe control system for a metro platform screen door. The system comprises door unit controllers, a signal transmitting and receiving unit, a main monitoring system and a control center server which are in sequential communication connection, wherein a standby service unit is arranged between the signal transmitting and receiving unit and the control center server and connected with the main monitoring system; the door unit controllers comprise an uplink door unit controller and a downlink unit controller. When the main monitoring system has a fault and cannot work normally, the standby service unit is communicated with the control center server through a MODIBUS bus, the state information of the platform screen door is transmitted to the control center service, and the safety of a metro system can be improved.
