A building fireproof and heat preservation material is prepared from, by weight, 65-75 parts of mixtures of vitrified hollow microspheres and hydrophobic closed hole expansion perlite, 8-12 parts of dimethyl phosphate, 8-15 parts of polysilicon borane, 5-7 parts of magnesium oxide, 100-105 parts of water glass, 7-13 parts of ceramic fiber, 3-7 parts of mahogany petroleum sulfonate, 4-8 parts of starch ether and 4-7 parts of methylcellulose. The building fireproof and heat preservation material has a good heat preservation effect and is quite excellent in fireproof performance.
