Method for preparing modified PAA (polyacrylic acid) concrete curing agent
The invention relates to a method for preparing a modified PAA (polyacrylic acid) concrete curing agent. The method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate and acrylic acid to serve as a monomer mixture; adding a cationic monomer, trihydroxymethyl aminomethane and dimethylchlorosilane into the monomer mixture, and uniformly mixing; adding a co-emulsifier, and uniformly mixing to obtain an oil phase; dissolving an anionic emulsifier in water to form an aqueous phase; uniformly mixing the oil phase with the aqueous phase to obtain a fine emulsion; adding the fine emulsion and ethylene oxide into a container under the protection of an inert gas, heating, dropwise adding an initiator, insulating to react, cooling the temperature to room temperature after the reaction is completed, adding ammonium hydroxide to regulate the pH value; and adding a nonmetallic mineral into the reacting product, and uniformly stirring. The modified PAA (polyacrylic acid) concrete curing agent has small dosage and low raw material cost, and can be used for remarkably reducing the water usage of fresh concrete and improving the concrete performance.
