The invention relates to a solar roof capable of opening and closing automatically to dissipate heat. The solar roof capable of opening and closing automatically to dissipate heat comprises a first solar roof module, a second solar roof module, a first spandrel girder, a second spandrel girder, a third spandrel girder and bolts, wherein each of the first solar roof module and the second solar roof module consists of photovoltaic cells and thermal bimetal sheets; the photovoltaic cells are adhered to surfaces of the thermal bimetal sheets; the upper end of the first solar roof module is fixed on the first spandrel girder through a bolt; the lower end of the first solar roof module is in lap joint at the upper end of the second solar roof module; the upper end of the second solar roof module is fixed on the second spandrel girder through a bolt; the lower end of the second solar roof module is in lap joint on the third spandrel girder; and the first solar roof module and the second solar roof module are arranged on a southward roof of a building. The solar roof can automatically ventilate and dissipate heat in summers, is closed to keep warm in winters, and has a good application prospect.
