The invention discloses a dry hanging self-decoration anti-seepage insulation board for an external wall. The insulation board comprises a panel and an insulation layer, wherein at least two side edges of the insulation layer are wider than the corresponding side edges of the panel by 1-2 mm, and anti-seepage bulges or/and anti-seepage grooves are formed in the side surfaces of the insulation layer; the insulation board has the advantages that 1, a structural form that side surfaces of the insulation layer press mutually and the anti-seepage bulges and the anti-seepage grooves in the side surfaces are mutually embedded, water seepage is effectively prevented; bonding waterproof layers are arranged among the side surfaces of the insulation layer and between the anti-seepage bulges and the anti-seepage grooves, and particularly, a flexible caulking compound is embedded into a board seam with the width of only about 3 mm between protection layers, so that the water seepage is prevented from the material. 2, the installation manner is simple, firm and reliable. The installation manner of main anchoring and auxiliary bonding is adopted, and an insulation protection layer and a wall body are ensured to be combined densely, firmly and reliably. 3, insulation protection of wall surface and the board seam, waterproof anti-seepage and wall decoration are completed simultaneously, the construction period is shortened greatly, and the construction cost is reduced.
