The invention discloses a casement door and window, which comprises glass, a movable door and window and a fixed door and window, wherein the movable door and window and the fixed door and window are used for fixing the glass; the edge of the movable door and window is provided with an upper notch; the edge of the fixed door and window is provided with a lower notch; the upper notch and the lower notch can be mutually in tight contact; the upper notch comprises an inner fixed frame and an outer fixed frame; the side edge of the inner fixed frame is provided with a connecting clamp plate; the side edge of the outer fixed frame is also provided with a connecting clamp plate; an upper sealing rubber strip assembly is arranged between the inner fixed frame and the outer fixed frame; the lower notch comprises two lower fixed frames; a cavity is formed inside each lower fixed frame; and a lower sealing rubber strip assembly is arranged between the lower fixed frames. The casement door and window has the advantages that the European standard notch design is used; various opening type door and windows in different styles can be manufactured by using different hardware accessories; the fixed part is sealed by double rubber strips; the opening part uses multiplex sealing; therefore good water-tight, air-tight, heat insulation and sound isolation effects are achieved; the installation of an integral structure is simple and convenient; and materials are saved, so that the cost is reduced to a great degree.
