The horizontal electric curtain coiling and uncoiling device comprises a fixed support frame, a left end cover, a back end cover, a sealing gasket, a rolling bearing, a sleeve, a fixing screw nut, a motor key, a motor, a feeding box body, a plum shaft coupler, a shaft key, a baffle cover and a screw bolt, wherein the left end of a shaft is matched with the rolling bearing and is fixed on the fixed support frame through the left end cover, the right end cover and the sealing gasket; the right end of the shaft is fixed on the feeding box body through the rolling bearing, the sleeve, the baffle cover and the fixing screw nut and is connected with the motor through the shaft key, the motor key and the plum shaft coupler; and a curtain is pasted on the surface of the shaft. When the motor rotates, the torque is generated; the shaft rotates through the plum shaft coupler and the shaft is driven to rotate so as to coil the curtain; the motor has the positive rotation and reverse rotation functions, so that the functions of coiling and uncoiling the curtain can be well achieved; the labor operation is reduced; and the goals that the operation is convenient and the safety is high are achieved.
