The invention discloses a telegraph pole for high-voltage lines. The telegraph pole comprises a telegraph pole body, wherein a lightning arrester is disposed at the top of the telegraph pole body, a fluorescent layer is disposed below the lightning arrester, a grounding wire is disposed on the lateral side of the telegraph pole body, one end of the grounding wire is connected to the ground, the other end of the grounding wire is connected to the lightening arrester, and a compass is embedded into the bottom portion of the telegraph pole body. The telegraph pole has the advantages that the telegraph pole can be effectively prevented from being struck by lightning by the aid of the lightning arrester disposed at the top of the telegraph pole body, and use safety of the telegraph pole and stable operation of the high-voltage lines are guaranteed; a warning function is achieved by the fluorescent layer disposed on the telegraph pole body, and accidents can be avoided; directions can be shown to passengers by the compass disposed on the telegraph pole body.
