The invention discloses a passenger door control system of urban buses. The passenger door control system comprises a control unit, a bus controller, a master door control switch, door control switches and magnetic door sensors, wherein the bus controller, the master door control switch, the door control switches and the magnetic door sensors are all connected with the control unit, and the door control switches and the magnetic door sensors are installed on bus doors. According to the invention, the magnetic door sensors sense the opening state and the closing state of the bus doors and transmit the information to the control unit, the control unit outputs control signals to the bus controller according to the states of the bus doors, the bus controller stops the buses from being started and driven if the bus doors are not completely closed, and therefore the potential safety hazards caused by driving the buses without closing the bus doors can be avoided. The master door control switch can operate the door control switches through the control unit so that uniform operation of opening or closing the bus doors can be achieved, operation is simple, and mistaken operation or incomplete operation is avoided.
