The invention provides a design method of an aluminum alloy sliding window. The design method of the aluminum alloy sliding window comprises the step of determination of amount of overlap in the height direction: selecting the amount of overlap according to a groove depth of an upward sliding profile, the height of a track of a downward sliding profile and the height of a sash rolling wheel. The amount of overlap of a sash and the upward sliding profile is generally obtained by subtracting from 1/2 of the groove depth of the upward sliding profile by 2-3 mm and can be 10 mm; the amount of overlap of the sash and the downward sliding profile is equal to the distance from a groove depth of the rolling wheel to the lower side of the sash, is 6-10 mm generally, and can be 8 mm; the amount of overlap in the width direction should be determined according to edge sealing profiles, hooked rabbet profiles and smooth rabbet profiles; during design, hooked rabbets of two sashes should be coincident completely; and when gauze sashes are designed, the amount of overlap in the height direction is equal to 1/2 of a groove depth of a gauze track, the amount of overlap in the width direction can be selected on the basis that the widths of the gauze sashes do not exceed the widths of the sashes, and the widths of the gauze sashes should not exceed the widths of the sashes. The design method of the aluminum alloy sliding window is reasonable in design; and the sliding window is durable.
