A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The invention relates to a low-noise disk type brake lining. The low-noise disk type brake lining comprises a steel backing and a friction material bonded to the steel backing. The friction material is prepared from, by weight, 5-9 parts of phenolic resin, 9-17 parts of graphite, 15-30 parts of precipitated barium sulfate, 10-15 parts of mineral fibers, 10-15 parts of calcium silicate whiskers, 0.5-2 parts of alpha-alumina, 1-3 parts of polyacrylonitrile fibers, 1-5 parts of antimony sulfide, 2-6 parts of ferroferric oxide, 3-5 parts of mica and 2-8 parts of modified sponges. The low-noise disk type brake lining has the beneficial effects that the sponges can alleviate impact and weaken oscillation and further have a good sound absorbing effect; the heat conduction coefficient is low; and the friction material has the beneficial effects of being high in shearing strength, high in tenacity, low in heat conduction and the like.
