The invention discloses an assembling method of an aluminum alloy door and window. A glass door and window body fixed in a side frame is used; the side frame comprises a compression assembly and a fastening assembly; through the matching of the compression assembly and the glass door and window body, the fastening assembly is pressed to generate prestress, and the glass door and window body is further fastened; the glass door and window body becomes a main control element for generating prestress; the fastening assembly selects elastic materials; under the effect of external force, stable prestress can be formed inside the materials, and can be stored; and the fastening assembly, the glass door and window body and the compression assembly form a stable prestress system. The assembling method has the advantages that the strength, the anti-twisting performance and the external-force-resistant capability of the whole aluminum alloy door and window structure can be enhanced; the occurrence of problems of door and window falling and deformation and the like is avoided; the side frame using a prestress structure on the periphery of the glass is used, so that a corresponding fastening point and a corresponding fastening mode can be set in any position of a side frame press block according to the fastening installing requirements of hardware fittings; the requirements of the use function and the firmness degree of the hardware fittings are met; and the limitation by the thickness of sectional materials is avoided.
