The invention discloses a light high-strength abrasion-proof colour environment-friendly brick and a preparation technology thereof. The colour environment-friendly brick is prepared from a surface material and a base material, wherein the surface material comprises the following components: cement, quartz sand, stone powder, medium sand, a brightening agent, pigment and water; and the base material comprises the following components: red mud, carbide slag, mineral powder, cement, building rubbish (broken particles with the particle size of 5-10mm), ceramsites, furnace slag, broken stones, building rubbish (broken particles with the particle size of 0.5-1.0mm), stone powder, medium sand, a water reducing agent and water. According to the invention, more than 70% of industrial waste residues and waste materials, building rubbish and red mud ingredients are adopted, a mould is placed on a supporting plate, and colour brick production equipment is combined, so that the colour environment-friendly brick with light weight, high strength, good abrasion resistance, water resistance and weather resistance is obtained, concrete pavement and ground engineering requirements in pavement of sidewalks, roadways, squares, warehouses and the like are guaranteed, and transportation is convenient.
