The invention relates to a preparation method of high crystal acicular interlacing structured low-aluminum mullite. The preparation method comprises the following steps: successively carrying out classified screening, crushing and elutriation deironing on raw materials including kaolin, kaolinite, hard clay, soft clay, a nucleation agent, a mineralizer, a dispersant and a binder, burdening, adding the nucleation agent, the mineralizer and the dispersant, carrying out mixed grinding and filter pressing, adding the binder, processing by a mixing agitator and a vacuum pug mill, carrying out vacuum extrusion molding, drying, roasting in a kiln, crushing, bagging and warehousing. The step of roasting in a kiln is roasting in a hyperthermia tunnel kiln, and a three-stage composite crystallization synthesis reaction strengthening technology is adopted. According to the low-aluminum mullite prepared by the method, mineral phase composition includes 55-56% of mullite phase, 40-45% of glass phase and 0% of cristobalite; crystal structure is an acicular interlacing structure; and refractoriness is 1750-1760 DEG C. the low-aluminum mullite can be used in preparing high-grade refractory ceramic, special refractory, industrial ceramics, domestic ceramic, sanitary ceramic blank and a main raw material of precision casting.
