Low-dielectric-constant microwave dielectric ceramic SrLi3MgBi5O11 and preparation method thereof
The invention discloses a low temperature sinterable high-quality-factor temperature-stable low-dielectric-constant microwave dielectric ceramic SrLi3MgBi5O11 and its preparation method. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) weighing original powders of SrCO3, Li2CO3, MgO and Bi2O3 with the purity being 99.9 wt% and above according to composition of SrLi3MgBi5O11; (2) carrying out wet ball-milling on the raw materials from the step (1) and mixing for 12 h, drying and presintering in atmosphere of 750 DEG C for 6 h, wherein a ball-milling medium is distilled water; and (3) adding a binder into the powder prepared in the step (2) and pelleting, carrying out compression moulding, and finally sintering in atmosphere of 800-850 DEG C for 4 h, wherein the binder is a polyvinyl alcohol solution with mass concentration of 5%, and polyvinyl alcohol accounts for 3% of total mass of the powder. The prepared ceramic is sintered well below 850 DEG C; dielectric constant reaches 20.9-21.7; quality factor Qf value reaches up to 93000-127000 GHz; and temperature coefficient of resonance frequency is small. The ceramic provided by the invention has great application value in the industry.
