The invention provides a preparation method of titanium carbide foam ceramic. The preparation method comprises the following steps: taking titanium dioxide as a titanium source and phenolic resin as a carbon source; sequentially carrying out polyurethane foam corrosion treatment, and mixing titanium dioxide powder with a phenolic resin solution; impregnating polyurethane foams in the mixed solution in vacuum; drying and sintering. A sintering process comprises the following two steps: removing the polyurethane foams by low-temperature sintering; carrying out high-temperature sintering to obtain the titanium carbide foam ceramic. The preparation method has a simple process and low cost; the prepared titanium carbide foam ceramic has a three-dimensional stereoscopic net-shaped framework structure and higher strength.
