Preparation technology of intragranular ZrB2 based UHTCs (ultra-high temperature ceramics)
The invention provides a preparation technology of intragranular ZrB2 based UHTCs (ultra-high temperature ceramics). The preparation technology is characterized by comprising steps as follows: 1), ZrB2 ceramic powder is added to absolute ethyl alcohol firstly, the ZrB2 ceramic powder is prepared by mixing hollow rodlike ZrB2 powder and nano-SiC powder, the volume percentage of hollow rodlike ZrB2 powder to nano-SiC powder is (70%-90%): (10%-30%), and a uniform ceramic suspension is formed after the materials are mixed for 4-8 h; 2), the ceramic suspension is subjected to vacuum drying by the aid of a rotary evaporator, and mixed powder is formed; 3), the mixed powder is added to a graphite grinding tool coated with BN, hot pressed sintering is performed under the argon atmosphere, the sintering temperature is 1,900-2,000 DEG C, the heat preservation is performed for 0.5-2 h, the pressure is 20-40 MPa, and the intragranular ZrB2 based UHTCs are obtained. The preparation technology is simple, the prepared intragranular ZrB2 based UHTCs have the composite effect of rodlike toughening and intragranular structure toughening and has higher bending strength and better oxidizing ablation resistance.
