The invention discloses a method for producing glazed tiles through waste industrial residues and steel slag. The method includes the following steps that by weight, 55-75% of steel slag and 25-45% of clay are mixed and smashed; a modifier meeting the requirement of compaction forming is used for being added into the mixed steel slag and clay to be stirred; the stirred steel slag and clay are subjected to compaction forming and cured; the cured steel slag and clay are sintered; the sintered steel slag is cooled to obtain the glazed tiles. According to the method, the waste residues and the steel slag serve as raw materials to produce various series of glazed tiles, and the problems that waste residues and steel slag generated by steel enterprises occupy land, secondary pollution is likely to happen and the utilization rate is low can be solved.
