The invention discloses a casement window having a transparent display function. The casement window comprises glass, a window frame, a glass frame, a transparent display screen, a window handle and a controller. One side of the glass frame is hinged to the window frame, the glass and the transparent display screen are embedded in the glass frame in parallel, and the transparent display screen is located on the side close to the indoor part. The controller is fixedly installed on the side, close to the indoor part, of the window frame, and the transparent display screen is connected with the controller through a circuit. The window handle is fixedly installed on the side, close to the indoor part, of the glass frame. The casement window having the transparent display function has the advantages that the structure is simple, and installation is convenient; a traditional window and the transparent display screen are ingeniously installed and combined together, and thus the window has the video playing function without influences on the light transmittance of the window.
