The invention relates to a cleaning machine for water surface garbage. The cleaning machine comprises two unit hulls (1), a garbage collecting cage (2) is fixed between the two unit hulls (1), a driving device (5) is arranged at the tail end of the garbage collecting cage (2), a rotating roller (4) is fixed to the upper end of the garbage collecting cage (2), and multiple collecting brushes (3) are fixed to the rotating roller (4). A lower end baffle ring (21) is fixed to the middle of the garbage collecting cage (2), and an upper end baffle ring (22) is fixed to the upper end of the garbage collecting cage (2). Brush strips (31) arrayed in parallel are arranged at the lower end of each collecting brush (3) and are staggered with grid bars at the front end of the garbage collecting cage (2) in the length direction without making contact. Transverse grid bars are arranged around the portion, exceeding the distance range of the collecting brushes (3) to the tail end, of the garbage collecting cage (2). The water surface garbage can be effectively and conveniently cleaned by using the cleaning machine.
