The invention provides an alpha-form alumina ceramic valve body and a preparation method thereof. The alpha-form alumina ceramic valve body is obtained by compounding 95%-99% of a component A and 1%-5% of a component B, wherein the component A is alpha-form alumina ceramic powder, and the component B is an auxiliary material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing the component A and the component B in proportion, adding the mixture into a pressing machine, pressing a blank, and carrying out water path, plane and tapping treatments to form a valve blank; and framing the valve blank, adding the framed valve blank into a forming furnace to form a valve body, externally compounding the valve body with a metal shell, and carrying out examination, packaging and ware warehousing. According to the scheme, the alpha-form alumina ceramic valve body has good stability, is pollution free and can meet various performance index requirements such as health, hygiene, environmental friendliness and energy conservation.
