Silicon carbide ceramic body semi-aqueous gelcasting method
The invention discloses a silicon carbide ceramic gelcasting technology. A semi-water base is adopted to replace a traditional water base to serve as the solvent, and crosslinking between an organic monomer in prepared silicon carbide slurry and a cross-linking agent is conducted under certain catalytic action to form a three-dimensional network structure, so that in-situ solidification forming of the slurry is achieved and a silicon carbide blank in a complicated shape is obtained. According to the method, water consumption is low, the blank shrinkage rate is reduced, and cracking of large-size blanks during drying is avoided; the blank has higher machining performance before organic solvent removal.
