The invention provides a screen window installation structure and a screen window. According to the invention, a user, even having no professional construction technology, can easily install a fixed-frame type screen window in a window frame arranged at the opening of a building, and the user can hardly disassemble the screen window from the outdoor side but can easily disassemble the screen window from the indoor side. A screen window frame (2) of the newly installed screen window (1) is provided with locking sheets (7) and elastic members (5). On the indoor side, the locking sheets (7) are in clamping connection with clamping portions (22b) which are arranged on edges (22) on the inner periphery side of an installed window frame (20) in a protruding manner. On the outdoor side, the elastic members (5) abut against the edges (22) in an elastic manner. Each locking sheet comprises a base end portion (7a) installed in the screen window frame and a front end portion (7b) in clamping connection with a hook-shaped part of the corresponding edge. Under the state that the screen window is installed in the window frame through the cooperation of the locking sheets and the edges, the elastic members generate elastic deformation between the screen window frame and the edges of the window frame, and the screen window frame is fixed relative to the window frame through the elasticity.
