The invention provides a preparation method of wood ceramic used for furniture making. The preparation method comprises following steps: a) pretreatment of cedarwood powder, b) synthesis of polyarylacetylene resin, c) preparation of a polyarylacetylene resin/wood powder composite material, and d) preparation of wood ceramic via heat treatment. Material adoption of the preparation method is reasonable; technology is simple; compared with common wood ceramic, the polyarylacetylene resin/cedarwood powder wood ceramic possesses higher compressive strength, lower volume shrinkage, and a promising application prospect.
